Info on Social Bookmarking

This one is fun - a video that will teach you about social bookmarking. Why bookmark? It is a great way to save the web sites you use the most, all in one place. You might have some great book reviews or lesson plans that you want to see right in your classroom. Voila - bookmark them. If you use a social bookmarking system you can share your groups of web sites with your colleagues and they can share theirs with you. Not sure what I am really talking about? Watch this video.

Social bookmarking is a wonderful, easy-to-use tool that makes life so much easier. Instead of having to repeatedly add bookmarks to favorite sites on each computer, one can simply list all one's favorite/useful websites in a social bookmarking account, which can be accessed from any computer. I love using this tool. It is such a timesaver!

Nice blog on some of the new Web 2.0 tools. It is hard sometimes to get people to start checking the blogs, but if you can convince them to use something like bloglines, they only have to go to one place to see all the blogs they might be interested in. Great information about social bookmarking.

Thanks for the connection to the video. I was just looking at all of my favorites the other day to try to find a site, and it took me about 10 minutes to find it. Time to clean house!
